About Us

What is your foundation about?
Dream Cars 4 Kids was created to support children’s hospitals by providing experiences with exotic, sports, and luxury cars for pediatric patients and their families.

How and when do you all start?
Dream Cars 4 Kids was formed in 2017 when two friends, Jonathan Springer and Ankush Shah, brought their focus together to support children in need. Thanks to their deep connections within the exotic and sports car communities they are able to call on a extensive list of volunteers willing to bring out their exotic and sports cars to help create new and exciting for patients facing a tough road ahead or to make a final wish come true.

Dream Cars 4 Kids origin dates back to 2012 when Jonathan coordinated what would later become the core mission of the organization. Nathan, a terminal patient at St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital in Memphis Tennessee, wished to see a Koenigsegg before the end, a car he knew well and loved from his favorite video game. With only a handful of these very rare cars in the United States at the time this request was daunting. Nevertheless, Nathan’s father pursued the request and with the help of Koenigsegg headquarters in Sweden, he was connected to Jonathan who they knew to be in touch with two of their cars. Nathan was not doing well so time was of the essence. Within 4 days of the request the car was at the hospital ready to surprise Nathan! Thanks to the owner of the car and donations from supporters in the car community Jonathan was able to move quickly to make Nathan’s wish come true.

The decision was made after the trip to Tennessee to do more to support children and families unlucky enough to find themselves in similar circumstances to Nathan and his family. Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers we are able to deliver on this mission now 10+ years later!

What is your Mission?
Our mission is to provide experiences for pediatric patients, most often fighting cancer diagnoses, with their favorite hyper, exotic, sports and luxury vehicles. Experiences include one-on-one “bucket list” visits, ride alongs, rides home, donated toy deliveries, and hospital-wide patient exclusive car shows and parades. Monetary donations received are used to support the urgent need for pediatric cancer research.

Who benefits from the services you provide?

Pediatric patients, their families, and pediatric cancer research institution and children’s hospitals.

How do people get involved?
First, follow us on Social Media. Second, join our network of car owners and volunteer! We rely on a diverse list of owners and vehicle types to make theses experiences a reality. Don’t forget to include a great picture of your car as patients, their families, and hospital staff can browse these cars in the event an urgent specific vehicle request is needed.

What do you need in the way of donations or help?
Donations are always welcome but we are primarily about the patient experiences. If you have a car your are excited about and would be willing to drive out to a local children’s hospital the please go to our website and click “Join The Network” to volunteer!

If you are a nurse, doctor, child life specialist, other supporting charity please connect with us. The more awareness, the more we experiences we can provide!
